A fast explicit preconditioned finite element scheme (English)
0 references
The approximate solution of self-adjoint elliptic partial differential equations with various boundary conditions by finite element methods, leads to big sparse matrices. The paper is devoted to a new class of methods to approximately invert such matrices. The paper illustrates on a standard problem the advantages of this class over known procedures.
