The boundary equivalence for rings and matrix rings over them (English)

The author considers the question of whether associative rings with identity and their associated matrix rings have equal decidability boundaries in the scheme and scheme-alternative hierarchies. An explicit description is presented for the decidability boundary \({\mathcal B}_{SA}(\underline{M}_n(R))\) in the scheme-alternative hierarchy for the case \(R={\mathbb Z}\).
