Affine groups of modules and their automorphisms (English)

Let \(R\) be a ring with unit, \(M\) a unitary module over \(R\), \(\Aut_R(M)\) the group of all \(R\)-automorphisms of \(M\), \(G\) a subgroup of \(\Aut_R(M)\). Then the semidirect product \(A:=MG\) is called an affine group. The author finds maximal normal Abelian subgroups and proves certain structure theorems for \(A\).
