Stability results for optimal values, constrained level sets and approximate minima (English)
0 references
The stability of solutions of minimization problems is an area of continuing activity in the ambit of optimization theory. The stability of the optimal value function and of the set of optimal solutions has been explored under a weaker notion of convergence of sets by the authors [Numer. Funct. Anal. Optimization 12, No. 5/6, 593--610 (1991; Zbl 0772.49011)]. The purpose of the present paper is to improve and generalize most of their previous work. Examples are given to illustrate the significance of results and hypotheses.
