The author introduces and partly studies a notion of fundamental category \(\pi_1 (X)\) of any bitopological space \(X\). Objects of \(\pi_1 (X)\) are points of \(X\) and morphisms of it are homotopy classes of corresponding bitopological paths. So, this notion does not generalize the usual notion of fundamental group \(\pi_1 (X)\) of topological space \(X\) and the title of this paper does not correspond to its content.
