In this paper, the author studies the perverse sheaves associated with \({\mathcal D}\)-modules that come from systems of microdifferential equations. He shows that the structure of such sheaves is simpler than that of an arbitrary perverse sheaf. In fact, the sheaves under study concentrate in degree zero and they can be recovered from the local system they determine on the complement of the ramification locus of the solutions to the system. The approach followed produces a statement that does not need the language of derived categories, and provides a combinatorial description of the objects.
