The monograph deals with the construction and analysis of reliability models and the security of systems. It consists of an Introduction, 23 Chapters, and a Conclusion. The chapters are organized into 4 parts.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEPart 1 presents models and methods of the direct reliability measurements of technical objects.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEPart 2 introduces models and methods of indirect measurements. This means the measured value depends on some parameters. Models of loads, resistance against loads, failure under and without aging effect, and reliability estimation of small series and unique products are considered.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEPart 3 introduces to the testing of technical objects. It includes methodology, classification, organization, realization methods, evaluation of results, and accepting solutions. An emphasis is laid on various aspects of multifactor experiments on complex technical systems (CTS).NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEPart 4 deals with ``man-machine'' reliability and security models of CTS. Some quality indicators of operator availability to check CTS, criteria and methodic aspects of operational reliability are considered.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe book has the character of an introductory survey. It can be useful to undergraduate students and specialists in reliability and security of technical systems.
