The authors study a nonlinear integro-differential system governing the collisionless evolution of a relativistic plasma in a curved space-time. The system consists of the Vlasov and Maxwell equations coupled with the equation of conservation of charge density. The results ensure the existence and uniqueness of local-in-time solutions to the Cauchy problem in appropriate weighted functional spaces.
