The asymptotic behavior of solutions to the following neutral difference equation is studied via difference inequalities NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\Delta l(x_n-\sum_{i=1}^m p_i(n)x_{n-l_i} r)+ \sum_{j=1}^{m'} q_j(n)f(x_{n-k_j})=r_n.NEWLINE\]NEWLINE Sufficient conditions for the solution to tend to zero as \(n\) tends to infinity are also obtained.
