By the definition used in the paper a fuzzy measure is any function \(\mu\) from a \(\sigma\)-algebra of fuzzy sets to the extended real line such that \(\mu(\emptyset)= 0\) and \(\mu\) is \(\sigma\)-additive with respect to the Łukasiewicz connectives. The authors prove the Hahn decomposition theorem and consequently the Jordan decomposition theorem.
