A series solution to a three-dimensional boundary value problem of linear thermoelastostatics for a thick laminated cantilever orthotropic cylindrical shell is obtained by using a variational principle. Numerical example for a 3-plied closed cantilever cylindrical shell loaded by a piecewise constant temperature and a mechanical pressure on the internal surface of the shell is included.
