Product properties on normal strongly quasi-paracompact spaces (Q2749027)

\textit{K. Chiba} [Math. Jap. 35, No. 5, 959-970 (1990; Zbl 0731.54010)] discussed the inverse limits of some covering properties. Strongly quasi-paracompact spaces were introduced by \textit{Y. Liu} in [Acta Math. Sinica 20, 212-214 (1977; Zbl 0373.54020)]. The purpose of this paper is to study the inverse limits of normal strongly quasi-paracompact spaces. The main result is that let \(X\) be the limit of an inverse system \(\{X_\alpha, \pi^\alpha_\beta, \Sigma\}\), suppose each projection \(\pi_\alpha: X\to X_\alpha\) is an open and onto map and \(X\) is \(|\Sigma |\)-paracompact, if each \(X_\alpha\) is a normal strongly quasi-paracompact space, then \(X\) is a normal strongly quasi-paracompact space. An analogous result for hereditarily normal strongly quasi-paracompact spaces is obtained.
