This well-written article discusses the possibility to release the orthogonality condition for the basis \(\{K(.,t_n)\}\) in the sampling theorem for the range space of a reproducing kernel Hilbert space presented in \textit{S. Saitoh} [``Integral transforms, reproducing kernels and their applications'' (Pitman Research Notes in Mathematics Series 369, Harlow, Longman) (1997; Zbl 0891.44001)]. The result is illustrated by a number of examples on classical systems of polynomials.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0963.00016].
