The author characterizes some classes of continuous mappings \(\Phi:\overline{\mathbb D}\rightarrow\mathbb D^n\) (\(\mathbb D\) denotes the unit disc) such that any function \(f\) holomorphic in a neighborhood of \((\partial\mathbb D\times\mathbb D^n)\cup\{(z,\Phi(z)): z\in\overline{\mathbb D}\}\) extends holomorphically to \(\mathbb D^{n+1}\). NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINERecall that for \(n=1\) the result is true for any continuous function \(\Phi\) [\textit{E. Chirka} and \textit{J.-R. Rosay}, Ann. Pol. Math. 70, 43-47 (1998; Zbl 0932.32032)], and for \(n\geq 2\) there are continuous mappings \(\Phi\) for which the result does not hold [\textit{J.-P. Rosay}, Mich. Math. J. 45, 529-535 (1998; Zbl 0960.32020)].
