Some applications of stochastic equations to industrial problems (English)

The author discusses two industrial problems: A robotic hand motion and a cutting process of a rotating workpiece. In both cases the asymptotic stability of controlled stochastic difference equations is obtained. Generalizing these examples, sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of nonlinear stochastic difference equations are presented. The main tools are Lyapunov-Krasovskij functionals. The author points out that the methods used in this approach could be applied for more complicated technical systems.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0964.00041].
