Topological transitivity for \(p\)-adic dynamical systems (English)

The authors consider the monomial mappings \(x\mapsto x^n\) over the \(p\)-adics, and characterize arithmetically the values of \(n\) for which this map is ergodic with respect to the Haar measure, on the disc centered at 1 with radius \(1/p\).
