These lecture notes give a throughout survey about strong laws for random variables with values in a separable metric space. The author has a focus on generalizations of the Ranga Rao theorem, the theorem of Glivenko-Cantelli, and on the so-called very strong law of large numbers. These topics and the associated stochastic inequalities are investigated under several different assumptions which are sometimes quite technical. Moreover, the paper is written in an encyclopedic exhaustive style in which all details are explained. For this reason it is sometimes difficult to keep the red line when reading it; nevertheless it contains a lot of interesting material, and it will be useful for everybody who works in this field or needs results in this direction.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0964.00043].
