The quantum flux from a semi-transparent moving mirror in a two-dimensional Minkowski space is investigated. A family of trajectories are considered, for which a perfect reflector would provide a time-independent positive-energy flux. It is shown that the semi-transparency leads to a diminishing of the flux, and that the flux decreases with time, so that it vanishes in the infinite future.
