In this article the author constructs some interesting examples of Prüfer domains \(D\) with an expression for \(D\) as \(\bigcap V_{\lambda}\) of certain valuation domains \(V_{\lambda}\) which are overrings of \(D.\) The principal tool in these constructions is the theorem of \textit{R. Gilmer} proved in J. Reine Angew. Math. 239-240, 153-162 (1970; Zbl 0184.29102) and reproved by \textit{K. A. Loper} in J. Pure Appl. Algebra 96, No. 3, 271-278 (1994; Zbl 0840.13009).NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0964.00012].
