A new approach to a process of tutoring of a functional programming language is proposed. A base idea of the approach consists of presenting to a student of an absolute liberty of choise of theoretical material and practical problems inside of the program. The approach was realized in an experimental tutoring system for Refal languages at Department of Algorithmic Languages of Moscow Lomonosov State University.
