On the numerical-analytical solution of static problems for locally loaded shells of revolution (English)

Static problems for orthotropic elastic shells are studied in classic formulation. Radial, axial and circumferential loads are applied within a finite area of the shell lateral surface. It is suggested to represent unknown solution as a sum of new unknowns and load-dependent quantities. The latter are selected in such a way that the right-hand sides of the solving system of differential equations would be continuous in the whole interval of their domain of definition. Solutions of this system are sought in the form of Fourier series in circumferential coordinate. An example of calculations for a clamped cylindrical shell is considered.
