On the determination of the action of a radiative force on a rigid sphere in liquid flow (English)

Radiative pressure (pressure of sound radiation) on obstacles in fluid under sound wave propagation was studied earlier for non-moving fluid. In this paper results of investigations are presented for moving fluids. A modified wave equation for the acoustic field potential in medium is derived. An approximate analytic solution for the flow parameters in the moving perturbed field is found. Formulae for pressure and magnitude of radiation force are derived.
