Harmonic oscillations of a bimorph piezoceramic beam with a concentrated mass at the end (English)

Harmonic vibrations of two-layered beam of piezoceramics with layers polarized in opposite directions are considered. The beam is clamped at one end. The presence of concentrated mass at the other end is taken into account in boundary conditions by an additional inertia force. Solution of the problem of forced vibrations is found in the form of eigenfunction expansion in solutions for a free beam. Using this solution, the relative increment of electric sensitivity and the first resonance frequency are analyzed. A conclusion concerning the possibility of use of piezoceramic elements for registration of vibro-acoustic signals on compliant surfaces is made.
