Problems on stress-strain state of spherically-layered media under layer adhesion and smooth contact between them (English)

An unbounded spherical solid \(0\leq R<\infty\) that consists of \(m+1\) homogeneous layers is considered. There are defects of the crack type or thin inclusions on spherical interfaces. Expressions for Fourier-Legendre coefficients of expansions for displacements are derived. A numerical example for two-layered medium is considered. It is found that in directions perpendicular to the applied load zones of negative normal stress may arise.
