    A rigid stamp is indented without friction into an elastic half-plane reinforced by a thin transversely-isotropic coating. Stretching of the coating under stamp is neglected. The problem is reduced to a singular integro-differential equation with respect to the contact pressure. General analytic solution of the problem is obtained. Particular solutions for stamps with flat and parabolic foundations are derived. It is demonstrated, that unlike solutions known from literature, the obtained solution has more simple structure and is free of some deficiencies.
