Mathematical results and numerical methods for steady incompressible viscoelastic fluid flows (English)
0 references
The authors present an overview of mathematical results for some models of incompressible, homogeneous, viscoelastic non-Newtonian fluids. The second- and third-grade Rivlin-Ericksen and Oldroyd fluids are discussed in a more detail. Various results on existence, uniqueness, and asymptotic behavior of solutions are systematically collected in this survey. The authors also discuss a numerical scheme for the simulations of a second-grade fluid.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0961.00018].
