Planar problems of determination of the end effect for laminate composites with transversely isotropic filler (English)

Composite is considered as a piecewise-homogeneous medium occupying half-space. Surface force is applied along the normal of half-space. Elastostatics equations are solved under conditions of ideal contact between composite layers. In the paper length of the end effect zone for normal stresses in the direction of the normal to half-space is considered. A criterion for determination of length of the end effect zone is introduced. Numerical solution is found by the finite difference technique. A particular example is considered.
