Pecularities of a plastic domain in weighty isotropic half-plane with circular hole (English)

Weight load of an elastic half-plane with a circular hole generates elastic stresses which can be found analytically. Under sufficiently intensive load, a plastic zone near the hole is formed. When the plastic zone completely encloses the hole, plastic stresses can be found by the method of small parameter (ratio of the hole diameter to its distance from the boundary). Depending on values of physical and geometrical parameters of the problem, plastic zone can either enclose the hole partially or be splitted into two zones. Conditions when these cases occur are formulated. Approximate expressions for shape of the a priori unknown elastic-plastic interface and stresses in the plastic zone are found.
