Structure of a generalized rheologic body (English)
0 references
The author considers rheological bodies consisting of elastic and viscous elements joined serially or in parallel in different combinations. Rheological equations which generalize the Hooke law are written in the form \(P\sigma=Q\varepsilon\), where \(P\) and \(Q\) are linear differential operators, and \(\sigma\) and \(\varepsilon\) are stress and strain tensors. Combining two or more elements, the author derives rheological equations, and on their basis obtains expressions for phase velocities of plane waves, attenuation coefficients, times of relaxation and aftereffect.
