On construction of off-diagonal elements of the Lyapunov matrix function (English)

A mechanical system with a finite number of degrees of freedom is described by a system of ordinary differential equations. In the paper, a technique of effective construction of off-diagonal elements of the auxiliary matrix function is considered. Two theorems concerning uniform asymptotic stability and uniform asymptotic stability in large of the equilibrium state of the system are proved. As a result, new stability conditions are found. Several particular examples of application of general results are considered.
