The authors develop a technique to determine hydrodynamic coefficients in equations of rigid body motion in a rectangular parallelepipedal cavity in the case of its lateral motions. This technique for solving the corresponding boundary value problems is based on a modified method of matched solutions and takes into account singularities of first derivatives of desired functions on the edges of cuts. The algorithm efficiency and some numerical results of calculations of frequencies and added masses are demonstrated.
