The author investigates the nonlinear dynamics of liquids transported by vessels, aircraft etc. The most general case is studied: arbitrary translational and angular motion of transporting object with cavity of arbitrary form filled with inviscid incompressible fluid with free surface. The author examines a boundary value problem with describes the Stokes-Joukowski potentials for the nonlinear wave motions of the free surface. An approach for solving this problem is developed, and the corresponding potentials are constructed for a practically important case of rectangular tank with lid.
