Generation of surface gravity waves by two submerged sources (English)

The authors investigate the water wave generation by two submerged sources uniformly moving in the fluid of finite depth. The corresponding linear three-dimensional problem is solved by the method of multipole expansions. The exact solutions in integral form for velocity potential and free surface elevation are carried out on the basis of Simpson method. The dependence of the free surface on Froude number and on the distance between the sources is investigated.
