Pulsating laminar flow in a duct with easily penetrable roughness near walls (English)
0 references
The author considers the stabilized motion of viscous fluid in a long plane duct with easily penetrable roughness over walls (i.e. in a layer with a distributed mass force proportional to the local velocity) under periodically changing pressure gradient. By means of an analytical solution, distributions of velocity and shear stress have been plotted across the duct for different time moments in the absence or in the presence of roughness. The influence of the roughness on the periodical flow depends drastically on the frequency of pressure changes.
