The mesoscale modelling of atmospheric boundary layer and spreading of a passive admixture within it (English)
0 references
The author presents a mesoscale model of transfer and turbulent diffusion of passive admixtures from the elevated source in the atmospheric boundary layer. The admixture in the mesozone is changed under the action of the advection, turbulent diffusion, dry sedimentation, temperature stratification of atmospheric boundary layer, the Earth's rotation and interactions with the surface. The knowledge of the main parameters of the phenomena under investigation for the mesoscale model is discussed, and some methods to determine admixture concentration fields in the atmosphere and on the soil surface are presented.
