Convection development in a horizontally inhomogeneous flow of the finite depth (English)
0 references
Development of the thermal convection in a flow with nonhomogeneous temperature distribution in horizontal direction is considered. It is found that convective flows in fluid. They can result in the considerable distortion of the initial distribution of the temperature. A method of numerical modeling of the development of convective flows is presented. The method allows to estimate the distortion of temperature profile in dependence on flow parameters and to determine the length of the initial part where these distortions are negligible. The results of calculations are presented.
