Constraints on extra time dimensions (English)
0 references
The authors study some phenomenological constraints on the extra time dimensions, in the light of the possibility that the standard model particles can be localized in the extra time so that the corresponding Kaluza-Klein modes are absent. It is argued that complexity in the potential may have a different interpretation, in which case the bounds would not be as severe. It is assumed that all the standard model particles are localized at a particular time moment and move freely only in the remaining four coordinates. The wave-function is localized in extra times. In this case the particles can be viewed as confined to a ``time-brane'', a 4-dimensional hyper-surface embedded in space-time with \(q\) extra time dimensions of size \(L\).NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0958.00052].
