The authors prove the following result: Let \(G= C(d_1,d_2,\dots, d_n)\neq C(3,3,\dots, 3)\), \(n\geq 3\), \(d_i\geq 3\) \((i= 1,2,\dots, n)\). Then the \((d,2n)\)-dominating number of \(G\) is \(2\) for \(d=\text{diam}(G)\).
