Computing the dimension of dynamically defined sets: \(E_2\) and bounded continued fractions (English)

The authors present an approach to the computation of the Hausdorff dimension of certain conformal self-similar sets. They illustrate the method by computing the Hausdorff dimension of \(E_2\), a set which consists of those real numbers whose continued fraction expansions contain only the digits 1 and 2.
