Let \(M\) be a Riemannian manifold with tangent bundle \(\pi:TM\to M\). The author studies the harmonicity of the canonical projection \(\pi\) and the harmonicity of unitary vector fields on \(M\), where \(TM\) is endowed with a suitable Riemannian metric.
