Fuzzy \(D\)-continuous functions (English)

The author generalizes the concept of \(D\)-continuity of functions due to \textit{J. K. Kohli} [Bull. Calcutta Math. Soc. 84, No. 1, 39-46 (1992; Zbl 0765.54008)] in fuzzy setting. It is shown that fuzzy \(D\)-continuity is weaker than the concept of fuzzy continuity, the converse being also true if the range space of the function is fuzzy \(D\)-regular -- a kind of fuzzy separation axiom introduced in the paper. The author also introduces fuzzy almost and weakly continuous functions and fuzzy \(D\)-Hausdorff spaces. Certain characterizations of the introduced concept and some allied investigations are done in the paper.
