A nonstationary problem of wave propagation on the surface of elastic half-space from the underground expansion source is considered. This problem models the detonation in a half-space. Exact solutions in the form of integrals with finite limits are obtained and on this basis numerical calculations are carried out. Algebraic expressions for the Reyleigh waves are obtained. The transient motion for the Reyleigh waves on the surface of half-space is investigated. Also numerical calculations for the Reyleigh waves due to discontinuous pulse sources are presented.
