The linear hydrodynamical problem dealing with the small motions and normal oscillations of the double pendulum with the cavities fully filled with fluid is considered. The problem is solved by the method of functional analysis. Theorems of the existence of solutions for the Cauchy problem are formulated. The properties of normal oscillations are established.
