Model of crack in a plate with flexible coating (English)
0 references
Crack in a plate with one-side flexible coating is modelled by a cut whose sides are connected by hinge joints at the plate face. In this case symmetry of stresses is broken and local buckling in the cut vicinity arises. For description of this phenomenon the biharmonic equation of plate bending is used in addition to equations of plane stress. Using the proposed model of interaction in the hinge joint a boundary value problem for two biharmonic operators with interconnected boundary conditions at the cut is obtained. The problem is solved by technique of singular integral equations. Taking into account limited strength of covering diagrams of limiting equilibrium for infinite plate with rectangular crack under tension and shear are constructed.
