Thermoelastic contact problem for plate with a crack along a circular arc (Q2759488)

Stationary thermoelastic state of isotropic plate with insulated faces is considered. The plate contains an arc-shaped crack and is under uniform tension at infinity. Constant thermal flux at infinity is known. Crack sides are insulated and they contact without friction. The problem is solved in polar coordinates with center at the arc center. First, the heat conduction problem is solved exactly. Solution of the problem of uncoupled thermoelasticity is solved by the method of Kolosoff-Muskhelishvili. An exact analytic solution of the problem is found, formula for stress concentration factor is derived.
