Study of motion of the adhesion-sliding type taking into account frictional heat generation and wear (English)
0 references
One-dimensional model of thermoelastic friction consists of equations of uncoupled quasi-stationary thermoelasticity, one-dimensional equations of motion, the Coulomb friction law with friction coefficient dependent on sliding velocity (determined experimentally) and the law of abrasive wear. The model is completed by initial and boundary conditions and the law of abrasive wear. By the Laplace transform with respect to time the formulated problem is reduced to a system of nonlinear differential and integral equations. The latter is solved numerically using the Runge-Kutta method and iteration technique. A numerical example is considered.
