Staircase algorithm and boundary valued convex interpolation by Gregory's splines (English)
0 references
An algorithm was derived to compute boundary valued convex interpolation. The interpolation with rational cubic splines by J. A. Gregory was used. At first the staircase algorithm for two-term problems was studied and the composition based staircase algorithm and the projection based staircase algorithm were developed. Then the projection based algorithm was extended to solve three-term problems. The Gregory's rational cubic splines, the projection based convexity algorithm, and the boundary values convex interpolation were discussed.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0970.00036].
