A direct time domain BEM-FEM scheme for soil-structure interaction problems (English)
0 references
A coupling scheme involving boundary and finite element techniques is presented for the title problem. A special B-spline impulse fundamental solution, with an arbitrary excitation response algorithm, is obtained by using the boundary element procedure to represent three-dimensional soils. Then finite element technique is used for the analysis of the structure. The proposed scheme is illustrated with examples.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0970.00025].
