A new concept of nearness (Q2759844)

The author first generalizes Herrlich's nearness spaces to near spaces and then constructs and studies natural functors \(G:\text{SNEARS}\to \text{EXT}\), \(F:\text{EXT}\to \text{SSNEARS}\), where SSNEARS is the category of single symmetric near spaces and EXT is the category of extensions of topological spaces (thus generalizing the reviewer's procedure for generalized proximity spaces instead of SSNEARS [Contrib.
