Non-stationary behaviour of three-layered discretely reinforced shells of revolution under longitudinal impulse loading (English)

For modeling deformation of the shell, some kinematic hypotheses of Timoshenko type are introduced. Nonlinear equations of motion are derived using the Reissner variational principle. Numerical solution is based on finite-difference discretization of variational equation and finite-difference integration scheme in time. A numerical example is considered, plots of deformation are presented.
